Raised in Missoula, Ms. Althauser left her native Montana to earn a B.A. in Psychology at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, including a minor in Music. She spent 4 years working with social service agencies, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the State of Montana Department of Labor as a case manager. She earned her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in May, 2011, where she participated in a successful National Moot Court Team, was awarded numerous scholarships, and was honored with significant academic achievement and public service awards. During law school she served as a Teaching Assistant in the field of writing, and gained experience as an intern with both the Missoula County Attorney's Office, and United States Attorney's Office.

Ms. Althauser will practice in all areas of litigation with the firm, and is admitted to all State courts.

Ms. Althauser's interests and civic commitments include service to the Delta Society Therapy Dog Handlers, and Missoula At-Risk Housing Coalition. She continues to pursue her involvement with music as a violinist, and enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter.
